Joshua Adam SummerJoshua's Mother and Father both became parents far too early and lived in a delusion that they were madly in love and that their unplanned pregnancy was an act from a higher power. They married quickly and Josh was born five months later on April fourth. His mother, a woman named Nicole managed to continue her education and went to school to become an interior decorator while his father, Lucas, went on to work for a man that owned an auto-repair shop.

When Josh was seven his mother gave birth to his sister who was named Maddeline. Being a seven year old, Josh only really felt jealousy towards his new born sister especially since he had noticed his mother and father growing more distant the more they doted on the newest member of the family. When he turned ten his parents left him to babysit his younger sister and he resented this to the point he actively tried to hide from the three year old but somehow she always managed to find him-possibly because he wasn't really trying that hard. Eventually he grew to adore Maddi and his resentment died away the older and more independant the young girl became.

His parents seemed to adore his sister more than they did him but he was quick to spot this was only to convince themselves they were still in love. Later Josh began to suspect the only reason his parents had his sister was to try and preserve their love.

It was a hopeless effort as Nicole and Lucas were turning out to be far too different to maintain being happily married. They refused to submit to the idea though, and became absorbed in their daughter's life to distract themselves from thoughts of divorce as neither one believed in it.

They acknowledged Josh but he was the product of a dead love and Maddi was conceived in the idea that another child would save their love or might even bring about a new love and he ended up the less important child, left to his own devices. Josh does not resent his parents or even dislike them as he more often prefered to be alone, but he does think of them as incredibly childish. If you were to ask him he thinks it would be far better for Maddeline, himself, and everyone involved if they were to just get a divorce but knows full well that they probably never will.

When the time came for graduation he scraped by barely in the top ten percent but never managed top of his class due to a period of indifference. He realized then that he had no idea what he wanted to do with his life-he had once wanted to be a fire fighter but somehow the idea had lost its appeal. He applied to a college a few hours from home in order to escape his parents childish antics and landed a private dorm. He signed up for several different courses including engineering, architectural design, forensics and criminology in hopes of running into something he thought he would enjoy doing the rest of his life.

It was in his forensics class that he met a funny and quirky girl named Bridgette Adams. She was vastly more animated than he and social butterfly of the class. She reminded him somewhat of his sister with how talkative and excited she got. Bri seemed to decide without consulting him that they were best friends. He doesn't really believe in jumping into any kind of social relationship as he's seen what kind of disasters it can lead too, despite this though, Bridgette ends up becoming his partner because she's fun to be around and incredibly gifted with forensics.

He enjoys college life and visits home once or twice month and remains undecided on his career choice but he has discovered that he likes solving puzzles.

He doesn't become introduced to the idea of being a detective until his forensic class takes a trip to the forensics lab and happens to notice something that ends up being a crucial clue in solving the murder. The lab specialist are greatly impressed and report the story to the police. A few month later another puzzling murder occurs and one of the officers, remembering the story about the extraordinary college student, asks the forensic team for his name and went to collect the boy. Since then Josh has been dragged out to a number of crime scenes no matter if he's absorbed in something else or not.

Josh doesn't think that much of this, he goes with the officers simply because he's bored. He is not driven to find justice because he's not all that interested in it-he's more interested in solving the puzzle behind it and he hates to leave a puzzle unfinished.

Circe Adelle Aucoin: Circe is the daughter of a man with two faces named Quintin Aucoin. Her father owns a travel agency known world-wide as Aucoin Travels with the catchy slogan; 'Travel on A Coin.' It is through his travel agency that he was able to run and orchastrate an invisble criminal networking system simply called Coin and thought to be mythical criminal organization. Quintin fell in love with a shy and timid cosmotolgist and made her his wife. She gave birth the little girl Circe Adelle Aucoin and did not find out about her husband's criminal involvment until her young daughter was five.

The poor woman became terrified of her husband and any possible criminal threat that hung over there heads. She never told him of her fears and it may have seemed to him that his wife only grew cold to him. When Circe was ten her mother had decided to summon her courage and ran out on her husband leaving her daughter behind in fear that the man would come after her.

At first, Circe felt the same any ten year old abandoned by their mother would. She felt betrayed. After a few months of living with the feeling and hating it she decided she would never again allow herself to fall victim to such ridiculous feelings and made up her mind she would only deal with a relationship if it benefited her in anyway.

Not long after she discovered her fathers second career and guessed the reason why her mother had suddenly left. She did not fear her father's business and only thought her mother weak for not seeing the potential goldmine she was sitting on. Circe became very interested in Coin and how it was operated and made plans to steal it from a father that wasn't ashamed to show her everything she needed to know to take control. By the time she was seventeen Circe had sucessfully and secretly undermined her father so that she was controlling the business through him so that he could take the fall for her should she need him too.

Georgia Doles: Georgia was born with the name Keisha Addler to a poor painter and his wife who worked as a modest hair dresser. Being unable to afford childcare her mother brought her to the salon with her. Keisha grew up around hair dressers and loved more than anything to play with her mother's hair. As she grew so did her desire to style, color, and cut hair, seeing as she was far too young and didn't know the first thing about cutting hair the salon owner offered to pay Keisha a quarter everyday she came in and swept the floor. The little girl happily agreed to the arrangement and stored her earned money into a small piggy bank.

She was Tweleve years old by the time her mother agreed to start to teach her the basics of cutting hair. She took to it immediately and even managed to convince a few of the other dressers to let her practice on them. She decided the money she earned from her job sweeping the salon would pay for her cosmotology school and resorted to buying a bigger piggy bank as the old one was running out of room.

In high school she was a cheerleader on the bottom of the piramid and well liked by all the other girls. She had a small string of boyfriends but nothing that really lasted as she knew she wanted to go off to beauty school.

Once she accomplished her goal of becoming a certified cosmotologist she returned home and went back to work for the kindly store owner, Patricia Erwin. In a few years time the salon was handed down to her as it was left to her in the owner's will.

A few years and a bit of remodeling later a young travel agent stepped inside to ask about points of tourism. The young man and Keisha seemed to be completely taken with each other as a few minutes of small talk later and he had asked her out to lunch, giving her his name, Quintin Aucoin. She did not immediately completely fall for the man as it took a year of dating for her to agree to becoming his wife. Eleven months after their wedding Keisha gave birth to a beautiful little girl she and Quintin named Circe Adelle. Quintin convinced Keisha to move away from her small quiet town and the three of them moved into a large house.

For five years Keisha thought she couldn't be happier. She had a loving husband and a beautiful daughter. She made a terrible discovery one evening and found out that is wasn't the travel agency that Quintin made all his money on. He dealt with criminals of the worst sort! He searched for targets, looked into getting them passage across the boarders and even looked up quiet locations for a murder!

At first, Keisha still loved him but she was beginning to go mad living in constant fear of what would happen should her husband upset one of his many criminal clients. It eventually sank in what kind of person Quintin must be to want to deal with those kinds of people and in time she grew to fear him too.

Five years later and she was falling to pieces, she felt no maternal connection to Circe and her marriage had grown cold. She decided to summon what little courage she had and left in the middle of the night, leaving Circe in fear her husband might come looking for her if she dared to take his little princess.

Keisha wasn't all that bright but she wasn't stupid either. To avoid being tracked down she changed her appearance by chopping her hair down to chin length, dying it a copper gold and curling what was left of it. She even went as far as to change her name to Georgia Erwin and fled to the other side of the country.

She returned to a lower class status and made ends meet by waitressing at a small cafe where she met Joe Doles, a quiet but honest man working as an eye doctor. She never intended to fall in love again but soon found herself to be Georgia Doles and about a year later she gave birth to a son, Hunter Doles.

Georgia still lives in fear that one day her old life will come back to haunt her but for the time being she enjoys being the modest mother to Hunter and Doting wife to Joe.
